Aim Two

To Carefully choose types of questions during the lesson and give time for children to answer.
Aim 2
1.    Planning for learning
2.    Implementing and managing learning
3.    Monitoring and Assessment of learning
TP Competency
Feed backs from my Mentoring School/College Teachers, indicated that I need to focus on this area. Also, it will help me evaluate students’ preparation and check on the presented concepts of many subjects. This will help children to develop cognitively in matters of empowering their thinking to be more analytic and logical towards many aspects of life. Questions may also stimulate children to inspect and find out the information and when they get the answer their self-esteem will be high as they well feel motivated to continue solving problems.

Rationale
·         Interpreting the meaning of the question by explain it to children using simple language.

·         Ask children open ended questions and wait to get an answer.

·         Present individual questions and clues to each child by naming him-her to answer.

·         Gradually, lead the open ended question by closed ended ones.

·         Give children multiple answers using images (clip art) to answer some questions then ask the child to extend the answer by asking further questions which can be open ended.
Strategies
I spontaneously fall in this mistake as I tend to ask several questions at the same time. However, this was only at the beginning according to my mentoring school teacher but then I tried to reframe my question and  use consistent language.
