Description of activity
1:
PART ONE: Monitored

The aim of this activity is to make masks or props to role play the
story of the week “The very Hungry Caterpillar”.
Children can also draw some events of the story in their free flow
play time. In this activity the teacher provide paper plate witch are hollow
in the middle in order to help children make masks.
-Children
will look and listen to the teacher as she explains the activity and
reinforces the story.
-Each
child chooses a flash card of the fruit that the caterpillar ate.
-Children
have to glue the cards they chose in the paper plate.
-Children will role play
the story using the paper plate they did.
